We’ll just have to see. It was just a weird track for me. It’s the second race. Last weekend in Nashville, Barcia hit a Tuff Blox in the main event and did not finish the main. In your mind then, back to normal Justin Barcia at A2?

I think he’s just mad. Were you surprised then when he even came up to you after the race? Struggled with set-up at the beginning of the day. I didn’t ride like myself. We’ll just have to see. Then he wanted to fight. Got better as the day went on, but my comfort wasn’t there and I didn’t finish where I wanted to. It was an eventful day.
Justin Barcia on the Dean Wilson incident.
Below you can see Barcia in the bottom of the screen stepping off his YZF in the middle of a rhythm section landing on his tailbone. Last weekend in Baarcia, Barcia hit a Tuff Blox in the main event and did not finish the main.
No, I don’t really think we got to chase our tail very much. Just move on and try to get back on the podium. We usually try a few things during the week here or there. Although the injury did not cause Barcia to miss time, he failed to finish inside the top five over the course of justij next five rounds.
Like baarcia said, on paper it looks like classic Glendale; long rhythms and long whoops. But, all in all, I salvaged some decent points and move onto next weekend.
The team is also without Aaron Plessinger, who suffered a broken heel in Daytona. The corners were choppy. Main event 2 went much better with a third-place finish as the deteriorating track conditions put some of the best Supercross riders to the test.
So we sorted it after the last practice and we went a big change bafcia the main event and luckily it was the right change. I just was like, “Get out of my face. Yes, I’m bummed I’m not on the podium but, at the same time, I salvaged decent points and didn’t throw away the whole race and move onto next weekend. I just think it was a unique track and just move on from it. Facebook Twitter Used to sign in with your email and password, or a different site?
The first two practices I was making front-end changes and my guys were kind of like, “Let’s stiffen up the rear and get some more pressure on the front end,” and it jusstin.
There were events in the heat races and all of that but, like I said, solid points came from it. Josh Grant will continue to fill-in for Plessinger and race the remaining three rounds for the team.
It’s definitely not going to drag out, because it’s no big deal.
I didn’t ride great all day. Thinking about that now, I probably should have done that a few weeks ago because I was injured already but I really wanted to be at the supercross race with my team and fans, and put on a good showing. That’s pretty much it. I’m not really sure. What went on from your perspective? You mentioned all of the positive bike changes. In spite of his misfortune, Barcia sits fourth in the SX standings, just seven points behind the leader going into round 4, while Plessinger holds ninth.
Prior to Atlanta Supercross, Barcia sustained a concussion and a shoulder injury in a practice crash and missed the following two rounds.
